The changes in public spending are having an impact across the country, as they are here in Leicester and Leicestershire, in many different areas of our lives. The third sector is needed now more than ever, but how is it being affected by cuts and the many other changes in this area?
This blog is here to record the work of a research project looking at the impact of cuts. The project wants to know who is being cut, who is not ... and what changes the differences are making to the work the organisations do in their communities.
Over time we hope to build up a clear picture that helps everyone with a stake in the sector ... so we want your views, news and any information you have. Soon we hope to have a map that where you can have you organisation's position (more, same or less funding) pin pointed.
